I absolutely love to see when clients use my work for their printing purposes. Here is an AMAZING save the date that I received in the mail today. A picture taken at our engagement shoot few months ago was used for the front and for the back, one of my photos was used in the stamp! I could not be giddier about it all! Candi made the save the sate and I do not think it could be ANY cuter :)

The Meyers Wedding

The Meyers wedding was absolutely beautiful. I adored Miami, this couple, and pretty much everything about this wedding. Miami definitely knows how to do it big. And who would have known that after the vows, the bride and groom would be blessed with news of triplets. Yes... triplets! :)

Natasha & Jeff

The main character of this love story wore white from head to toe. Elegant and poised, she resembled a princess as her prince waited at the end of the aisle, whom tried his hardest to keep the tears back. Natasha has a beauty that shines from deep inside of her, and this is only amplified by her husband, Jeff.

It was truly beautiful to watch.

Sweeter Than Honey

I was contacted to do a bridesmaids session before the wedding and I cannot tell you how much Natasha and her bridesmaids are beautiful inside and out. Natasha even seemed to naturally attract the most beautiful sun glow around her! Even though all of the bridesmaids were not able to be pictured, I am sure they are just as romantic, pure, beautiful and joyous as Elan and Vanessa. I do not think these girls could be any sweeter.

I wish you girls the best of luck and many blessings to the bride and groom.

Sonia & Athar

In January, I was blessed with the opportunity of capturing moments at a Pakistani engagement party. Believe me when I say that this was much different than an American engagement party. The event was very fun, traditional, and absolutely beautiful.
Engagement ceremonies vary among families with different traditions but for this Pakistani couple it was a gathering that began with Sonia sitting and Athar was brought to come sit with her. Friends and family brought gifts and many pictures were taken....many. haha. Then a ring was given to Sonia and Athar received a very nice watch. Afterward, everyone fed the couple extremely sweet desserts to start off their life with something sweet :)

Rachel and Zachary are a really amazing couple. They are incredibly intelligent, fun and clearly perfect for each other. I could not wait to post these since these images are some of my favorite I have ever taken of two people before! Here are some images that were taken yesterday at Lake Jackson in Tallahassee, FL. Amanda, Ryan and their adorable little girl Savannah, are such a beautiful family! The session was shot in a delightful St. Petersburg park while they were in town for a sunny Florida Christmas. The fall/winter colors on the trees created for such colorful backdrops and I loved how this family’s piercing blue eyes beamed at my camera, all session long. Savannah's first birthday was soon approaching, so we decided to let her have a lot of fun with cupcakes... *squish squish* is my only hint haha. Enjoy!

In November, I photographed the beautiful wedding of Andrew and Leiya. The dashing bride and groom may look familiar because of their engagement shoot I did a few months ago. Along with Tina Meyer as second photographer, I was able to capture the most special moments of Leiya and Andrew's new chapter in life. I absolutely fell in love with the peacock theme and loved that my photographs of the couple were sprinkled around the entire venue.

I can’t express in words the kindness that is Michael and Rebecca. Two entirely pure souls. I saw authentic humility in Rebecca and sheer happiness in Michael throughout their wedding day. It’s amazing to be able to know such individuals, but most of all to be able to give them a gift as large as capturing their relationship. Their ceremony took place in Tallahassee at Genesis Church. The church’s grounds offered great backgrounds for photos, and the bride and groom's radiating smiles allowed for amazing photographs through out the day. It was a day full of love.

So I have decided to start making every Friday, into a FASHION FRIDAY. Yup. I will have clothing ideas and inspirations for different kinds of photo shoots!

My first Fashion Friday is dedicated to the loving mothers that request family sessions and ask what would be appropriate for the family to wear. Now that fall season is upon us, here is a cute combo for a family to wear at a session. The family matches but isn't "matchy matchy". Happy Holidays! :)

LAUREN PRICE came to me this past week asking if I could shoot some outfits she had made. Once we became Facebook friends and I saw her work, I became so excited for the opportunity! Below are some of the shots from the shoot... but first, some background on this outstanding fashionista: Lauren is a senior at The Florida State University pursuing undergraduate degrees in Apparel Design and Merchandising. Originally from Clayton, North Carolina and chose to attend FSU for its unique curriculum in the fashion fields and its International Programs.

"I thrive on adventure and grasped an opportunity to study abroad during my entire freshman year of college, spending nine months in Florence, Italy and the summer in London, England and Valencia, Spain. I am a member of Fashion Inc., the Collegiate Merchandising Association, as well as various honors societies on campus, and plan to use my experiences and course work in the fashion field to obtain a career focusing on product development with a well established design firm."
